Yes I'm still alive. It was a long day between acting class, dropping by free comic book day and getting more drawings done for James. Broke it up briefly by watching a couple episodes of the new My Little Pony series... and I hate to say it but it was quite enjoyable. The first two episodes anyway. I was surprised. Very Sailor Moon-ish though. XD

In other news I got a part in the local Renaissance festival, playing a lady of the court. It's theater in the round. It's a volunteer job, but it's great experience. Rehearsal is tomorrow. I'm excited... I have headshots done, and a resume, now all I need is to get a couple monologues done so I can get a demo reel going.

That will have to wait a bit though, this week is going to be insane between working full time, memorizing lines from two different scripts, and redoing a bunch of art for James. I'm okay with it though, the insanity is something I have to get used to if I want to be an actress. ;)

Oh yes and I crashed my car. I was stupid and because I was looking behind me I wasn't paying attention to where my front end was swinging while backing out of a parking lot at Sears. Hit the front fender against those cement posts... crushed the fender inwards and knocked the front bumper partly off. I was going all of 2 km an hour so I was shocked at the damage. I'll never ever not pay attention again. My car is grounded for now (tire is rubbing against the damaged bits) and on Monday I get to take the fender off and pound it back into place (and tie up the bumper) because I don't have the money to replace or repair it. My car is in terrible shape bodywise from all the damage I've caused it by learning how to drive in it and two accidents, I'd never be able to sell it. But it drives well and thats the important thing, right?

Oy! I'm glad you're okay, and I'm really glad you only hit a post. Yes, as long as it drives and passes inspection, that's the vital thing. And I'm glad you got to free comic day and finished up those drawings for James.

I dunno about the Pony show. I've seen Anons fall into a strangely enthralled state with that show. Kind of disconcerting.

LOL the pony show is okay. It isn't good enough to cause a thrall, to me at least. XD And yeah, everything went well enough and the car will live to drive again. Did you have a good weekend?

Ah a beat up car is a strangely powerful thing. You can park pretty much wherever you feel like without worries and no one wants to steal a car that isn't valuable.

Long as the engine works, who cares about aesthetics? Just so long as you weren't hurt, and you really don't gotta worry about cement posts going after your insurance...

LOL my car is amazingly battered, so, even though it's a Honda Civic I doubt it's going anywhere. XD And yeah... I'm grateful I didn't hit another car as well. ^^; I take it you have a car too then eh? :)

Whah, the renaissance part sounds like so much fun. You must post pics (either here or somewhere else!). Drawing too? Sounds like you've been pretty busy!

Glad you weren't hurt in the car crunch - I know even minor fender benders can produce whiplash in certain cases.

...Actually, after having my 25 year old, Beat up, Propane powered, Pick up truck for the past, oh....three years? I dunno if I ever want a new car. I'd be so worried about the inevitable dings and scratches. Old cars for the win.

And huh. The animations okay I suppose, as is the story. Not bad at all, and defiantly something I wouldn't object to my kids watching. If I had kids XD.
