I wish I was in the same city so I could offer refuge from the smell, or at least a place to store your stuff. Do you think it might be possible to get a box or two of your more valuable things into a self-storage place for a month?
*shakes fist at landlady* If it's some kind of leak and not just regular basement-level damp, then not even a dehumidifier will deal with it. This could cause structural damage to the house - I don't know why she didn't act sooner.
