Car for Sale
May. 12th, 2008 11:16 amOn Saturday I finally got my drivers license after a year and a half. (Or eleven years, if you count back until I was 16.) It was my second try.
It was one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. I sweated. Screwed up two parrell parks after doing them perfectly on the first time out. Had to pull over for an ambulance on 13th ave.
Dave, my DD with the class 5 license, decided to take me out for celibratory KFC after I passed. Then I went home with a mirgraine and went to sleep for a couple hours. XD Honestly, getting my licence was one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. :P I don't know how teenagers handle the pressure. Probably cause their parents are paying for it I guess.
Today is the second day in a row that I've driven myself to work. I feel so odd without someone in the car with me.
Anyway. One last step down before the great move to Vancouver.
The car is a 1991 Plymouth Acclaim. It WORKS and the body especially is in good condition. It's now on sale for $1000. I can go lower than a thousand. If anyone needs a car in the Lethbridge/Calgary area send me an e-mail at turtlegirl42 (at) yahoo (dot) com .
Next step is selling a good deal of my My Little Pony collection on e-bay. The auctions will start going up tomorrow night. The money earned from the car and the ponies will help go towards moving expenses.
